Park Elementary School opened it’s doors for the first time this September 2009! It’s a wonderful new school located in Newark’s Nothern Region. Dr. C. Janey, the District Superintendent as well as Govenor Corzine and Mayor Booker were present to welcome students, parents and community members!

The 2009 Newark District math fair is a tough competition. The fair showcases exemplary math projects created by students and teachers throughout the district. The 6th + 7th Grade students once again produced a top rate project. Pythagoras – “More than the hypotenuse”.
