William H. Brown Academy Students partner with Project U.S.E. to learn boat building! Project USE works with almost 10,000 young people and adults from all over New Jersey and the northeast. The Boat Building Program is a unique initiative by Project U.S.E. that is presented through a longterm, on-site relationship with participating schools and agencies. Students explore the maritime history of their region and learn the science and art involved in boat building. The Program combines standard curricula, (math, physics, history, etc.) with rigorous and exciting experiential learning.canoes or sailboats constructed by the students. The Program culminates in the building and launching of wooden canoes or sailboats constructed by the students

    This was truely an unforgettable experience for the kids! I was glad to be a part of it! These kids will remember this for the rest of their lives!
